Add a crispy, fried panko coating, and I promise you it’s an explosive combination. You won’t be able to stop eating them!

To bread them, we do the same thing we do with breaded shrimp, for example.

  1. First, they go in flour.
  2. Then in egg.
  3. Finally in panko.

I wanted them to be extra crispy, so I actually dipped them twice in egg and panko.

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and pour in vegetable oil until it reaches approximately 1 inch in depth.
  2. The ideal temperature for perfectly golden-brown fried pickles is 375°F.
  3. Sift the cornmeal and all-purpose flour into a large bowl.
  4. Mix vigorously while sifting. This will help create a smooth batter.
  5. Add a pinch of salt, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together.
  7. Slowly stir the soda water into the bowl until you achieve a smooth, uniform texture.
  8. Set the spicy batter aside in a cool place.
  9. Prepare the pickles.
  10. Slice them and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  11. Toss the pickles in the 4 ounces of all-purpose flour and coat them well so the batter adheres better.
  12. Dip the pickles in the batter until completely coated.
  13. Using tongs, place them in the frying pan.
  14. Fry for 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
  15. Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent the pickles from becoming soggy and greasy.
  16. Remove the fried pickles from the oil with a slotted spoon or spatula and drain them on a paper towel.
  17. Your delicious Buffalo Wild Wings fried pickles are ready!

Serve them with ketchup, ranch, or any other dip for a truly unique experience.
