Muffins are small cake-like pastries, but the batter is usually much denser than cupcakes. There are also savory muffins with an incredible variety of flavors.

This time, I’m sharing a simple recipe for chocolate chip muffins, which add a special touch along with the vanilla flavor. I hope you enjoy them!

Ingredients
- 125 grams of margarine at room temperature
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 180 ml of liquid milk
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (you can use white chocolate or caramel)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 380°F (190°C).
- Place 12 muffin liners in the molds (the same ones used to make cupcakes)
- Cream the margarine and sugar together, then add the eggs one at a time. Next, add the vanilla extract, flour, and baking powder, gradually incorporating the milk. Finally, gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or a large spoon.
- Fill 3/4 of each mold with the muffin mixture and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Let cool completely before serving.
- They last for several days at room temperature, and can also be frozen.
