How to Grow Your Hair Faster?

For some time now, long hair has been the hairstyle of the moment. It must be said that beautiful, wavy lengths instantly add a touch of glamour to our style and allow us to change our hairstyle as we please: in a high ponytail, a hippie bun, a bohemian braid, or even naturally, loose.

How to Grow Your Hair Faster

The biggest concern is hair growth. Whether it’s because it simply doesn’t grow, or it’s too fragile, or because the arrival of spring inspired us to cut it, there are many reasons.

But even though our hair grows about a centimeter per month, there are some 100% natural treatments that will allow us to accelerate its regeneration.

How to Grow Your Hair Faster? (Some Important TIPS)

Trim the ends

There’s no secret to making your hair grow faster: you need to get it trimmed. This might seem paradoxical, but it’s actually quite logical.

In fact, if we keep putting off our hair appointments, our ends will become thinner, split ends will appear, and our hair will become brittle.

However, unhealthy hair grows more slowly. Therefore, trimming the ends allows our hair to regain its strength and vitality, and thus grow faster.

Then, we should get into the habit of going to the hairdresser regularly, every two to three months, to have a few centimeters trimmed. The more frequent the appointments, the less we’ll need to trim because our hair will be less damaged.

Healthy foods

A healthy, balanced diet is essential for beautiful skin and healthy hair. To promote hair regeneration, we primarily focus on foods rich in iron, zinc, protein, vitamins, and essential fatty acids, such as red meat, seafood, legumes, green vegetables, fruits, eggs, nuts, and oily fish.

Exfoliate the scalp

Just like the skin on your face, your scalp also needs exfoliation: excess sebum, dead skin cells, dandruff—all of this and more affect hair regeneration. The solution? Apply an exfoliant once a week to remove all these impurities and purify your scalp with natural ingredients. For this, you’ll need coarse salt or ground coffee mixed with a little olive oil.

Apply it to the roots and massage it in with your fingertips using circular motions for a few minutes before washing it out with shampoo. Always finish rinsing the shampoo with a blast of cold water, which protects the scalp and gives your hair a natural shine.

Massage your head

Scalp massage activates microcirculation, which accelerates hair regeneration. Twice a week, for 5 to 10 minutes, treat yourself to a little pampering by massaging your entire scalp with your fingertips in circular motions.

Start at the nape of your neck, then move up to the top of your head, finishing at your temples. The massage can be done without any product or using a blend of invigorating essential oils such as pine, lemon, ylang-ylang, or thyme.

Besides being good for your hair, this practice is beneficial in every way: it relaxes you and makes you feel better.

Masks

Hair masks are a staple for accelerating hair growth. They deeply hydrate and nourish the hair, restoring its vitality and promoting faster growth. We recommend using one of these natural recipes once a week.

Natural remedies to make your hair grow faster

Healthy hair tends to grow faster, so try these tips, and you’ll notice the difference. Some home remedies are for consumption, while others are applied topically to the scalp.

1. Green tea

This infusion has numerous health benefits. One of them is precisely its contribution of nutrients to the hair, promoting rapid growth and preventing hair loss. Drink a cup of green tea every morning for a month and enjoy its properties (and the energy boost).

2. Olive oil

This oil promotes healthy hair growth and strengthens it, giving it vitality. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, it protects the integrity of hair cells and retains moisture. Your hair will no longer have that damaged, brittle look that causes you so much trouble. To apply it, we’ll create a mask: heat olive oil with a tablespoon of rosemary for one minute. Let it infuse for 48 hours. Apply to the roots and ends for 20 minutes and rinse with shampoo.

3. Egg

Horizontal

Eating eggs will give you the protein you need, but here’s another trick: an egg mask. How do you make it? It’s simple: Beat one egg, add a banana, stir until you have a smooth mixture, and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with your usual shampoo and apply conditioner.

4. Lemon

Lemon is a natural conditioner that prevents frizz, stimulates hair growth by regulating the oil that clogs hair follicles, and provides antioxidant vitamins that intensely nourish the hair. Add a couple of tablespoons to a little water and leave it on for fifteen minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water. You can do this natural treatment once a week (twice if you have very oily hair).

5. Onion

Horizontal

Onions are very nutritious; all you have to do is chop them into very small pieces and add them to your shampoo. Wait a week, and you’ll have a new formula that will strengthen your hair and make it grow much faster.

6. Varied proteins

Your diet should be rich in vegetables, white meat, fish, eggs, and legumes, but that’s for your overall health. However, protein plays a big role in your hair. A trick? Add brewer’s yeast or wheat germ supplements to your breakfast, along with milk and two slices of turkey. This will give you a boost of energy to start your day.

7. Honey and Aloe vera

Horizontal

Extract the juice from an aloe vera leaf, combine it with a tablespoon of honey, and spread it evenly over your scalp. Wait 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

8. Tomato and avocado

Another foolproof hair mask for beautiful hair, and all you need is a tomato and the healthy fats of avocados. Instructions: In a bowl, combine a tomato, the pulp of an avocado, half a tablespoon of olive oil, and a few drops of aloe vera. Blend, leave on for half an hour, and rinse.
