Easy Crepe Recipe

Crepes are one of the most traditional breakfasts or snacks that we have all over the world and they can be accompanied by sweet and savory ingredients turning it into a perfect dish.

Easy Crepe Recipe

This recipe of French origin is very easy to make and it is an easy batter that is passed through the griddle until thin wafers are created that are filled or accompanied with whatever we like the most.

Recipe Ingredients

IngredientQuantity
Whole milk250 ml
Flour125 grams
Eggs2 medium
Sugar10 grams
SaltA pinch

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. We put all the ingredients in a blender glass and blend very well. Once everything is mixed we stop, we do not want to add air to the batter.
  2. Now in a non-stick pan, we put butter. I like to pierce butter with a fork and thus be able to spread it all over the pan.
  3. We pour batter until it covers the entire pan and let it cook on all sides and when some little bubbles start to come out we turn it over carefully.
  4. We cook the other side and remove. If it is the first crepe you make, it will probably come out wrong, normally the first one breaks and is discarded, but I guarantee that the following ones come out perfect.

Actual nutrition will vary depending on ingredients (e.g., whole milk vs. skim, butter substitute, added fillings or toppings) and crepe size/thickness.

Conclusion

For crepes there are many types of toppings. We can make for example savory filled crepes, for example vegetable crepes or cheese crepes.

But if we want the classic sweet crepes the best and what I like the most is whipped cream and some fruits on top. You can also put liquid caramel or a little melted chocolate. Either way they are going to be delicious.
