I’m posting this now because some of you will need it for the recipe I have planned for next week. Although this blend is usually used to season meat or chicken to serve with tortillas, you can also use it to give your meals a different flavor. I often add a pinch to beans, rice, dressings, or marinades to enhance the flavor a little.

And of course, many of you already know that in the US this mix is readily available in any supermarket, but the difference is that this one doesn’t contain preservatives and you can add salt to taste. Other pre‑made mixes have a high salt content, which is why I don’t like to use them.

Taco Seasoning Recipe
