It’s finally fall, but pumpkin spice drinks don’t really mark the season yet. After weeks of rumors about what exactly is coming back to Starbucks’ fall 2023 menu, I’m happy to say that you can now order a pumpkin-filled little treat, among other things.
Let the pumpkin era begin! Some drinks are back on Starbucks’ fall menu: the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. There are also two new drinks: the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte and the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. I’m really excited about these.
The Baked Apple Croissant is a new item on the new menu. Also, I think the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin (mega slay) and the Owl Cake Pop snacks will be back in cafés this fall.
6 Best Secret Menu Fall Starbucks Drinks
Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is a style icon that has been around for 20 years. You can enjoy this drink hot or cold, with espresso poured over pumpkin sauce and your choice of milk. It will make you feel like fall. Don’t forget the whip either! As soon as I could, I got this. It’s famous, just the right amount of sweet, and my special way to get serotonin in the fall. Can’t say no to a treat!
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
People love the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew at Starbucks because it has strong coffee and sweet pumpkin cream together. Every time you take a sip, you get a nice pumpkin-flavored taste. One of Mallory’s favorite things about the PCCB is that it still tastes like coffee and isn’t overpowered by “sweet but not too syrupy” tastes.
Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte
There is a new drink in the ring! The Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte (it’s a mouthful, so practice your order now) is based on a popular bartender custom drink. It’s made by topping an iced chai with milk of your choice with the café’s delicious pumpkin-flavored cold foam. This drink will be a hit because chai spice goes well with sweets.
Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
Starbucks is building on the success of their Shaken Espresso by adding their holiday Apple Crisp syrup to an iced drink and finishing it off with a big splash of oat milk.
Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato is back on Starbucks’ fall menu for a third year. It tastes like old times during the season. A dose of Apple Crisp syrup is mixed with blonde espresso and oatmilk to make it taste lighter and sweeter.
Baked Apple Croissant
The Baked Apple Croissant will be a new bakery item on Starbucks’ fall offering in 2023. That smells like warm apple pie, this choice goes well with all the fall drinks, from the PSL to the Shaken Espresso.
